Teryl Koonmen

BACKGROUND

Teryl is one of the founders of Insurance Advantage Agency LLC and Insurance Advantage Agency Corp.  She also is the owner of Teryl S. Koonmen Agency, Inc.  She has years of experience in varied areas of the insurance industry.

She was a Personal and Small Commercial Underwriter for USF&G.  Subsequent positions in the insurance industry included Professional Liability Underwriter, Supervisor and Vice President.  Later, she developed and owned a successful Farmers Insurance Agency.

Teryl holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Underwriting Designations.  She served as the CPCU local and national New Designee Representative and the local CPCU Chapter President and Treasurer.

EDUCATION

Teryl graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cardinal Stritch with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration.

FAMILY

Teryl has lived in the Minneapolis area and Naples, FL and is married to Matt Koonmen.  They have one daughter, Kristin.

HOBBIES

Meeting people, reading, swimming, and golf are Teryl's favorite pastimes.
