BACKGROUND

Steve is one of the founders of Insurance Advantage Agency LLC®, Insurance Advantage Agency Corp., Steven W. Joos Agency, Inc., The Gold Connection of IL, The Gold Connection of MN, Morton Cinema Corporation, J&B Films, and Safe and Sound Security and Fire Systems, Inc. of Port Charlotte, FL.  Angel investor for low tech and high tech start-up companies.

INSURANCE CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: 

Independent Agent  in Peoria, IL.. 

Captive Agent for Farmers in Illinois, with agencies in Morton and Peoria, IL.  

Independent contractor District Manager for Farmers Insurance in the Minneapolis, MN metro area with an office in Edina.  During Steve's tenure as district manager he created one of the largest district operations in Minnesota.  He also developed an exceptionally effective agent training program which Farmers district managers utilized in multiple states.  

During his career Steve received the majority of Farmers achievement awards, including the very highest.

Steve is the co-owner of Insurance Advantage Agency LLC and Insurance Advantage Agency Corp.  He also is the owner of Steven W Joos Agency Inc.    

EDUCATION:   Bachelor's degree (Business/Finance) from Illinois State University.

MILITARY SERVICE:  Four Years U.S. Army, Vietnam

FAMILY:  Wife Debbi, two children...Michael and Michelle...and 9 grandchildren (Mac, Lacey, Reese, Tess, Riggs, Elle, Vivian, Harvey and Nellie).

HOBBIES:  Holds PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.  Avid fisherman, fair golfer and enjoys travel.
